Encouraging senior citizens to extend their working life is a good idea in any economy. The problem Russia has in this regard is the health of its senior citizens; in 2015 HelpAge International had them ranked 86th out of 96 countries. I dare say it has worsened.

Las personas mayores merecen un lugar en la mesa del clima. El planeta se está calentando y envejeciendo al mismo ritmo. Para 2030, 1 de cada 6 personas tendrá más de 60 años, pero sus voces siguen ausentes en las decisiones climáticas. En la COP30, exigimos sus derechos, inclusión y liderazgo — porque la justicia climática no tiene edad.
