It's funny that this story is making the rounds; was just telling someone about how massive the shift has been from my bleeder camp days - when I was on prophy every 48h - to now, when I just take Hemlibra every 2 weeks.
Kids these days will never know the struggle and I truly love that for them.

I think it’s still in clinical trials in Japan; my doc was a little wary when last we talked, just because the long-term efficacy is kinda uncertain?
Besides, I’ve been on Hemlibra since 2018 and that’s been life-changing so I’m good.

they basically are! pharma naming conventions are so strange tbh. for a second there I saw this and thought "oh is this for me?" nope lol, that's a different bleeding disorder. but excuse me, the brand name "HEMLIBRA" sounds like it's for astrological libras like me, so its giving big alchemy vibes

My HTC hematologist told me that being a day or two late on the Hemlibra doesn't matter. I told him not to tell me that because then I'd be a day or two late past *that.* It just feels like way more of a crapshoot whether I get a good injection or not
