He and ‘Going for Gold’ ( as well as the morning repeat showing of the previous lunch time’s ‘Neighbours’ in 1988 kept me sane with my newborn! 😂. She used to dance to the music as she got a little older. Happy memories ❤️. RIP #HenryKelly

This somehow passed me by last week, such a shame as Henry was genuinely a brilliant, clever and talented man. "Going For Gold" along with "Game for a Laugh" were superb TV.

I used to do a Halloween party for a well known Celeb, It wasn’t too far from The Old Bull n Bush pub in Hampstead. Every year we’d go in in the lead up to the night and every year no matter what time we’d see Henry Kelly at his favourite table enjoying a snifter. #henrykelly

Anecdote alert: As viewers of Going For Gold might recall, Irishman Henry pronounced “3 zone” (a feature of the show) as “tree zone”. Years later, when he stepped out in front of me as I was cycling by, I quipped “You almost landed in the tree zone!” Blank response 😂 #HenryKelly

Sad to see #HenryKelly has died. I used to live around the corner from him and we shared the same local, The Old Bull and Bush in Hampstead.

In Trump’s Washington, a Moscow-Like Chill Takes Hold
A new administration’s efforts to pressure the news media, punish political opponents and tame the nation’s tycoons evoke the early days of President Vladimir V. Putin’s reign in Russia.

Mainly about where i was from, where my family originated and which line of Kelly’s i was probably related to. Talked migrations, cornish tin mines, Welsh coal and steel and Liverpool area. He was fascinating, really interesting and lovely chap. #HenryKelly
