#nw LETHAL PANTHER (1991). Two lady assassins are pitted against each other, w a lady CIA agent caught in the middle. Godfrey Ho's film is surprisingly sleazy w loads of full frontal nudity (women; the men manage to have sex wearing jeans), but coherent.

'Tragic Hero' (Taylor Wong, 🇭🇰1987). Eureka LE #bluray. Epic crime drama with #heroicbloodshed. Liked it more than the first part 'Rich and Famous'. Narrative still a mess even in HK standards but action had improved. Brought the big guns at the end.

'Wild Search' (Ringo Lam, 🇭🇰1989). Eureka #bluray. Continued my HK trip with this action thriller. Chow Yun-fat's turn as a cliched tough cop is worth a watch, he makes the character feel effortlessly humane. Having Cherie Chung certainly helps as there's more romance than #heroicbloodshed.
