Spotted in Belfast Airport - apparently Heverlee “premium” pilsner is brewed to the “original recipe” which dates back to 1129. Surprised by this, given that lager yeast didn’t emerge until the 15th century and pilsner didn’t exist until 1842. ABInBev really don’t give a shit about beer or drinkers.

Before the boozing starts I took the bus the short ride to the Leuven suburb of Heverlee where there's a Sunday market. Some essential shopping ensued - see picture - and now relaxing with coffee and a wafel or two before I get on the beer about one.
