I was going through some older photos and came across this one.

Remember: it's illegal to not stop at "EAT."

(This is an abandoned restaurant local to me east of Jonesville, Michigan. Hasn't been open in probably 20 years, but the sign is still there!)
While driving eastbound on US 12 outside of Jonesville, Michigan, there's an abandoned restaurant on the north (left) side of the road with a very tall (formerly lighted) sign, black on white, in tall sans-serif capital lettering, that simply says "EAT".

A women wears a white T-shirt with the design of a small roadside restaurant building viewed from the front-left. The building has a central door, a window on either side of the doorway, an overhanging flat slab roof, and a red stripe around the base of the walls adjoining the foundation. A plaster ash can sits outside the left of the doorway. A towering slab with rounded corners rises from the far right side of the building and has big, bold, black letters that spell "EAT" with unlit neon tubes over the painted shapes. Script text above the building and to the left of the sign says "It's illegal to not stop at..." A comic speech bubble hovers over the right corner of the building, and says "HEY! THEY HAVE TACOS!"
