Taking Wing

As a visiting official, Hiccup had already been feeling like he stood out in Corona. Now, he knows he does.

A/N: a short for the #TangledMasquerade2026 event!

I'm working on a short Hiccunzel piece for the Tangled masquerade and it is not going the way I intended it to at all lol

okay, then, let's see where it goes, I guess ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

IF I can manage, I may also do a short Hiccunzel fic for the masquerade event!

I think it's VERY funny that someone will see a ship like Hiccunzel and then get in someone's face about how "RAPUNZEL ISN'T A CHEATER!! STOP MAKING HER CHEAT!!!!!"

but that same courtesy/logic/defense doesn't even touch Hiccup with a ten-foot pole lmao

Something SO SO SO INSANELY FUNNY about going into Punz's tag on tumblr and seeing someone post like. Cassunzel or Hiccunzel or ANY ship that isn't new dream and then knowing for a fact theyre going to get an anon from my nemesis about how 'Rapunzel is ALREADY MARRIED TO EUGENE!!!' without fail lmao

"Do you have any other moze or punz ships?"

I do ship Moze/Al and Moze/Jas! Hic has also kicked around the idea of Moze/Elsa and Moze/Ariel which I could vibe with tbh

For Punz... So many. Too many. Hiccunzel and Pitchunzel are big ones for me bahaha.

THEY NEED MORE LOVE

Seeing Tangled get its own area and ride in Japan, and now Epic Universe has a whole HTTYD area with rides too …. dormant Hiccunzel feelings from around 2012 hit me over the head. So happy to see you two thrive!!!! 💞
