Lillegull fikk sonde og highflow pustestøtte i går for å slippe å bruke krefter på amming og avlaste pusten. I dag ser ting bedre ut, hun har ammet en del og hun klarer seg uten oksygentilskudd på highflow nå. Håper å få fjerna pustestøtta i kveld og sonden i morra.

Jeg har fått igjen på skatten. I form av førsteklasses helsehjelp til min nesten seks uker gamle datter med RS-virus. To barneleger, tre sykepleiere, en sykepleierstudent og to bioingeniører har tatt oss godt imot på barneavdelinga og gitt (og gir) oss den hjelpen hun trenger.

Bäm... heute Nacht der 5. Patient mit Covid-Infektion. Alle 5 respiratorisch am Limit mit peripherer Sättigung zwischen 80 und 90% und Fieber über 39°C. 3 Patienten 2x geimpft, 1 Patient 3x 2021 und 2022 und der 5. gar nicht. Alle jetzt am HighFlow u. intermittierend NiV.

Switching to the high-flow nozzle on the PrusaXL made a huge difference in print speed! I printed 18 sturdy storage boxes using leftover Fiberlogy PETG in just 14 hours. These are structural, high-quality prints with excellent layer adhesion.

Switching to the high-flow nozzle on the PrusaXL made a huge difference in print speed! I printed 18 sturdy storage boxes using leftover Fiberlogy PETG in just 14 hours. These are structural, high-quality prints with excellent layer adhesion.

OMG, I'm ready to get all black clothes and unmarked bills and find the black market for HIGHFLOW showerheads that will blow you right though a brick wall. Why does all "progress" involve ruining something that was perfect?

Norepinephrine isn’t work – now what?? (Management of refractory shock)
Most resuscitation is pretty straightforward. No matter how sick the patient is, we select from a fairly limited list of interventions. Hypoxia: does the patient need facemask oxygen, highflow, BiPAP, or intubation? Hypotension: fluids, blood, vasopressors? This basic, well used menu serves us incredibly well for the vast majority of resuscitation. It is simple, which helps manage stress in inherently high stress situations.

My FIL was a big covid denier and caught it and nearly died. He was hospitalized for a couple weeks and on super highflow O2. He did get vaccinated after he recovered. But he and my cancer patient MIL are not current now on covid, flu, or rsv. So, I understand! Sending lots of good vibes your way.

Naja. CPAP biste mit unter 1000€ dabei aber die Highflow Geräte kosten mehrere Tausend Euro. Ein Beatmungssystem hält bei einem Patienten maximal eine Woche und kostet etwa 32€ netto. Kannst Du ja ausrechnen, wie weit wir mit 10 Millionen in einer Pandemie gekommen wären.
