I was there the night he got hurt. Gunnar hit a 2-run Home Run in the 8th to give the O's a 5-4 lead
Then Felix did the Omar entrance. It felt like nothing could stop this team. Might have been the highpoint of it all

Unfortunately that ends the good things to say because this is rubbish. Graham Crowdens' performance gets a lot of attention, but honestly, it's the highpoint because unlike the rest of the story it's never dull.

I think of it as a highpoint in the genre of star-packed variety specials popular in the 1970s; I'll leave it to others to decide if it exceeded the '77 Star Wars Christmas Special (which I may have watched the broadcast of, but expect that my memories come from watching it a few years ago.)
