Looking through some photos of an adult Iceland Gull that was at Portree yesterday. BUT it is a Kumlien’s Gull. Note the dark markings on the outer webs of p9 and p10. This would have been virtually impossible to ID in the field especially with it being dull and distant and without photos.

My grandad said 'that's a funny looking robin' moments later is was looking at this magnificent red-flanked bluetail. Seen at nethy Bridge Scotland! The exact location is on birdguides!
