Hijiribashi is patterned off the Ochanomizu Women's University. Hijiribashi is called the "Toothless Garden" because it prefers to focus on educating the "leaders" of Lilies and studying tactics and academics and such. So, Sekkadan being its only legion is just a neat thing to consider.

Searching JSTOR in the interest of catching up on scholarship about Masamune in English articles over the past couple decades and I saw this in "Hijiribashi: Spanning Time and Crossing Place" by Ken Tadashi Oshima.
Uhhhhhh.....Masamune died in 1636....you're thinking of Tsunamune or Tsunamura.

If I am not mistaken, it's the only spot in Tokyo where you can see trainlines with 1500V DC OCS lines near a trainline with 600V DC 3rd rail with a cut-and-cover construction method. The Toden Arakawa Line is also 600V DC but it's doesn't go through a cut-and-cover subway tunnel, so yeah

Gardens all have a "defense area" they're responsible for protecting. Tokyo is protected by the "Three Houses" (Irma, Odaiba, and Ludvico) of Tokyo, which means other Tokyo-based Gardens (Herensuge, Kanba, Hijiribashi) don't have one and are more "locally" oriented... and Hijiribashi does nothing.

People in Japan have a fascination about three trains passing each other. At Hijiribashi bridge near Ochanomizu Station you can see three, sometimes four at this point, the confluence of the Chuo Line, Sobu Line, Marunouchi Line. You can see the spot featured in the film "Suzume no Tojimari”

walked west until the streets rose and the trains started providing percussion. Then at the bridge I comforted my route card while the actual companion waited behind me. So naturally, named almost some trains correctly and promoted myself to guide.

tiny day update: After rain I walked to the Hijiribashi overlook and gave the passing trains a confident tour-guide introduction. They rearranged themselves before I finished; my route card now has circles, mysteries, and a choice—rails or water.
