Route 135 is a classic historical route through fine mountain country, and now also part of the #WestHighlandWay. The track itself is a 44 km long old drove and military road skirting the Black Mount Hills and ascending the well-known Devil's staircase.

Our first #HilltrackTuesday of the year comes from #ScottishHillTrack 139, Bonawe (Loch Etive) to Glen Etive.

This 22km route goes along the west shore of Loch Etive for most of its length, with excellent views across the loch to Ben Cruachan and Ben Starav (pictured here).

Route 119 is the old coffin route from Glen Falloch to Balquhidder, as the name of the Bealach nan Corp (pass of the corpses) indicates. The bealach in question is broad and boggy and may be confusing in the mist... #HillTrackTuesday
