The Hindavi word humsafar means "companion" (on a journey). In the last 20+ years I've sung it more often than I could count in the line "ना तो humsafar की तलाश है" - "I'm not looking for a humsafar". Think the process of germination from Sanskrit to Hindi is called Khariboli which more stiff & direct vs the more poetic Pariboli that was lost over the centuries. The former was popularly used & the latter, only used by the literates. Hindi became Hindavi during the Mughal era intermixed w Persian.

this style is an entire genre in hindavi literature. it is a type of folk poetry called kah mukarni, and involves two playful female speakers seemingly speaking about their lovers and ending in a wordplay. they’re very earthy-sounding in their folk performances, and are traditionally sung by women.

There is a need to address the issue of questionable sci publishers that deteriorate GSP & try to monopolize the market (MDPI, Frontiers, Hindavi, Elsevier, etc). At least, the sci community should stop encouraging publishing there & stop all kinds of public support/endorsement for these publishers.
