Two more nights left in Hindicember and I’m going all the way back to the 60s for ZINDAGI. I’m watching this one purely to see more from Vyjayanthimala.

On Xmas eve I watched MERRY CHRISTMAS for #Hindicember and boy did I ever like it. Vijay Sethupathi stole my heart as the quiet Albert, and Katrina Kaif shifts into acting gears I didn’t know she was capable of. Loved the noir twists and the foreshadowing of powerful moments. Big thumbs up!

Okay, I had my wires crossed a bit on this one. BARFI! is a lot of things, and when it’s a quirky 70s romance and an homage to Golden Age Hollywood comedy films, that’s when I like it the most. #Hindicember

Don’t have time for a full movie tonight but I can watch the DHOOM 2 until it’s time to sleep. Most of the time #Hindicember is about discovering new things, but tonight it’s about the comfort of the familiar, such as watching Hrithik Roshan dress up like Queen Elizabeth II for a heist.

SHIP OF THESEUS is a #Hindicember recommendation from @lucidillusions.in that is available for free on YouTube. From what little I’ve read I’m expecting a relatively quiet drama anthology, quite a shift from the last movie’s bombast.

DHOOM 2 is a weird one; not as good as the movie before or after, and I honestly don’t like the music much. But Roshan and Rai’s part of the movie makes up for nearly all the flaws. #Hindicember

Finally, to settle down and start #Hindicember; a day late and I might not make it past interval but I'm going to try. Starting the season with HUM TUM, which from I have heard is an incredibly slight movie starring my favourite Khan and the ravishing Rani Mukerji.

I have Nana’s Cherry Christmas Loaf in the oven and that takes at least 70 minutes to bake. So I can get through at least half of BAND BAAJA BAARAAT. #Hindicember even helps me with my holiday baking!
