Here's the main cast of Hinimato walking around! It took a bunch of admittedly embarrassing mistakes, but I got here, and that's what counts.

And here's everyone's natural hair textures! I couldn't fit poor Roxie on the second row, so now she's alone.

And here's the Hinimato. I was able to fit them all on one row this time. 😄
#art #oc #OcSky #Hinimato
Image: Hinimato cast from straightest to curliest hair. In order, it's Toni, Tsuki, Benji, Kenji, Higgy, Nicky, Maxy, and Mai. Toni and Tsuki's hair is unstyled, making their hair very straight, and Maxy's hair is unfluffed.

I should be editing writing, but I thought I'd finalize the poster of Jay that hangs above Higgy's bed.

More Fields of Mistria Hinimato!
#art #oc #OCSky #Hinimato
Image: Original characters. Benji, Stanley, Tsuki, Kenji, and Mai dressed in the style of Fields of Mistria Saturday Market Vendors. Benji and Stanley give a welcoming pose. Stanley's is graceful and Benji's is casual. In another sketch, Stanley smiles, resigned, while Benji snickers. Tsuki winks and smiles at the viewer, carrying spices on her hip. In another sketch, she laughs "Oh ho ho ho!" Kenji is dressed as a florist, and he has a muted expression. In another sketch, he smiles, surrounded by flowers. Mai is decked out in gold and jewelry. She points at herself, proudly. In another sketch, she looks caught off guard.

After figuring out some of the specifics of Hinimato's worldbuilding, I've decided to change the main cast's designs to more closely reflect the demographics of the main setting, Jiyukoku Island. Here's the new designs!
#art #oc #OCSky #Hinimato
Image: A lineup of the main cast of Hinimato with their new color schemes. Higgy, Nicky, Toni, and Kenji have tan skin. Nicky has light blond hair, Mai has dark brown hair, Toni has dark reddish brown hair, and Tsuki hair is less red hair. Tsuki, Benji, and Maxy's eyes are a darker color.

Hinimato sketches from this year and last year that I'm fond of.
#oc #art #Hinimato
Image: Sketches of all eight main characters of Hinimato in a style similar to 80's anime. Image: Various sketches of two characters from Hinimato, Mai and Tsuki. Mai is shown as tall, cocky, able to play a keytar, and often wearing a Japanese male school uniform despite being a girl. Tsuki wears dresses, is a singer, and she is implied to be business savvy. Image: Various sketches showcasing Nicky, a tall, lanky boy, and his admiration of Higgy who is much shorter, colder, and more smug in comparison. One sketch features Toni, a freckled boy who also admires Higgy. Image: Sketches of Mai and Toni hanging out. Toni is shown to have a softer and more nurturing personality than Mai, but they get along well.
