Btw I’m so cooked I heard the term shoah foundation and thought it was dedicated to emperor Hirohito

Aside from anything else, it's just terrible writing. (If you want litotes, you've got to go full Hirohito)
Incredible softening and qualification ("suggest", "perception", "many", "might", "hoped") here by Chris Mason of poll results which consistently and clearly show - to quote the actual question - that a majority think it was wrong to leave the EU.

Even Emperor Hirohito didn’t surrender unconditionally!

Anarchist from Colony is about Korean anarchists who attempted an assassination of young Hirohito, but also is somehow a romcom and it works. Second half is court drama. It's on Tubi.

Emperor Hirohito, after hearing the Pearl Harbor plans
my god what a pitch by Yamamoto

A) Emperor Hirohito on nuclear bombs being dropped on Japan, 1945.
B) Chris Mason on 10 years of Brexit lies and client media coverage of the wreckers, 2026.
I hope this labelling clears up any understandable confusion.

Strong Hirohito vibes from that Chris Mason sentence. "The economic situation has not necessarily developed to Brexit's advantage".

Emperor Hirohito’s tour of Europe in 1971 made it painfully clear that the wounds of the Second World War had not healed.

Per Herbert Bix's biography of Hirohito this was by design to give the Emperor power without accountability. No major initiatives could happen without his approval but none of the initiatives were his.

Mx Kris Vyas-Myall ponders the existence of Protostars, an anthology of #ScienceFiction cliches (pardon, short stories). Perhaps there’s an answer to lacklustre SFnal anthologies in the chatter around the visit of Japan’s Emperor Hirohito to the UK.

No, no, no. Trump is Hitler, Putin is Stalin, and Kim Jong Un is Hirohito.

Just noticed I got my $90 old person bribe two weeks so I've sent most of it to Talarico and Hinojosa (and not Hirohito as Bluesky "corrected" that to). Aren't I a radical ingrate?

Modern day genocide, ethnic cleansing, war in Southeast, Africa, Ukraine, Gaza. Now Iran risking annihilation to a moron.

You are correct as Trump models himself more after Hitler than Stalin, Hirohito, or Mussolini. History class or not.

Trump borrowed “Drain the Swamp” from Mussolini.

Go talk to Alberta Einstein and carry the warning letter to Francine Roosevelt about the potential for atomic weapons. If the US develops it first, they might be able to use it to win the fight against Empress Hirohito.

Hirohito: Japan is the "hottest" nation on the planet! England and America are very envious of our co-prosperity sphere and soon we might add Korea and Indochina, we're looking into it very strongly.

Mishima was the breed of postwar Japanese ultranationalist who held Hirohito in contempt for surrendering and allowing barbarian occupiers on Yamato soil, he probably was happier not to have the Imperial Household involved.

“The people who turned out to watch Hirohito were silent because they remembered. They remembered his declaration of war on Britain in 1941; how his men had swarmed across Asia and the Pacific; and they remembered the friends and relatives who had been killed, “
