The Hitron CODA56 is a good choice. It's one that most of the cable ISPs provide themselves, and it'll be ready for synchronous 1 gig down/1 gig up.
I like ASUS routers; the RT-AX3000S is a good unit for most people. If you want a different brand, the Netgear RAX36 is in the same price/spec range.

They've replaced the line from my house to the junction box, and from the box to the tap. I've replaced my modem (at my expense) with a brand new Hitron CODA56. Everything on my end is 100% fine.
There's a line noise issue. Something in the neighborhood equipment is fucked.

I guess HITRON existed but was still in the Augusta, did we even have the gun mounts for the Jayhawks and Dolphins yet? Or would this have been early WW1-style CAP, where the backseater has whatever gun he can scrounge?

So apparently it is possible to use less-than-lethal force against suspected drug smuggling vessels rather than wantonly killing everybody aboard.

Adm Lunday is a giant ball-licker, but the fact that he sat this out and didn't order HITRON or the Surface-Fleet to go Anti-Personnel and continue doing interdictions the same way the Coast Guard has done them for decades, ought to be entered as Evidence #1.

Go fast boats only do so in bursts, USCG cutters=endurance. Our aircraft loiter for hours, USCG has overlapping assets. Smugglers can’t outrun assets like HITRON:

Correct! They should be using the coast guard! The Coast Guard has a program called HITRON which has successfully interdicted millions of dollars in drugs! legally and without killing a single person! They simply shoot the engines out on the back of the boats and then bring a cutter up alongside.
