After a week, finally I have fog-of-war, building and unit previews, and just a little bit here and there.

It’s starting to feel like the HoMM-style adventure I dreamed off.

Check the progress:

graphics certainly look shiny but the question with every hommlike is "are the maps actually playably sized"

I should try it some more. I got Planetfall long ago on some sale, hoping I guess for something better than Beyond Earth, or a scifi version of Heroes of Might & Magic III. I was disappointed by it, but then wondered if AoW4 would be an even better evolution on the greater HoMMlike genre

wonder if anyone's ever pulled off a HoMMlike but space. I'm sure I have one on my 200-item steam wishlist if it's out there

Hello! Yeah, I've been trying the recent HOMMs and they haven't been amazing. I did enjoy this HOMMlike. It used to be called Silence of the Siren, and I'm actually not sure if I ever would have played it if it had its current name. 😬 More of a III than IV tho. store.steampowered.com/app/2147380/...
