Really cool place, geologically, botanically, and aesthetically. I was 130m up, and the place used to be deep under ice in the late 1700s.

Un des nombreux glaciers qui descend du Vatnajokull vers l'Atlantique. Comme les autres, le recul est spectaculaire. Entre 1890 et 2010, il a perdu 10% de sa surface, 20% de son volume. Inutile de dire que le bilan ne s'est pas amélioré depuis.
