That day ... Mosley bore the scars from the Battle of Holbeck Moor 👍.

You are forgetting The Battle of Holbeck Moor on the 27th September. 30000 turned out to kick the fascists out and put Moseley in hospital. It was the inspiration for Cable Street.

..at a small ceremony at Göring's gaff, with Hitler presiding. So he was under strict orders from the missus-to-be not to repeat the hiding he got in Holbeck Moor before the wedding. As documented by son Nicholas Moseley in his 2 volume biography of his father (whose politics he rejected).

This weekend marks 90 years since the Battle of Cable Street. Did you know that a week before was the Battle of Holbeck Moor?

On 27th September, we joined others in Leeds to remember when people assembled to prevent the leader of the British Union of Fascists from holding a rally.
