Man accused of perpetrating holdups in south Riverside, near university
RIVERSIDE (CNS) - An 18-year-old man accused of robbing and attempting to rob individuals around neighborhoods in close proximity to UC Riverside pleaded not guilty to felony charges and will ask a judge next month to lower his bail so he can get out of jail, where he remains held Friday.
Shareef Maki Pendergrass of Riverside was arrested Monday following a joint Riverside Police Department and UCR Police Department investigation.
Pendergrass is charged with robbery, three counts of attempted robbery and one count of witness intimidation.
He denied the allegations during his arraignment Thursday before Riverside County Superior Court Judge Gail O'Rane, who scheduled a bail reduction hearing for Nov. 9 at the request of Pendergrass' public defender.

It’s the cops not actually being civil servants or doing real law enforcement but instead being the shovel of shit shovelers without any holdups, or push back. This seems small. But if they can use cops this way they will use other forms of “law” enforcement this way and they too will follow orders

I worked in IT. As part of my role, I used to look after a site in Paris, and regularly went to sites in Germany, Hungary, Austria, Italy, Denmark. Almost never any holdups (one in Paris due to abandoned luggage)
So simple compared to when I went to the Middle East.
