Mine might have been a copy with a load of hip house remixes to fill the tape, can’t confirm.

Starting to buy up old decent quality cassettes when I see them to re-record. These were all less than £1 each. Time will tell if that’s a good investment!

Five cassettes full of Hard Bop now, will do some more today. I mocked up covers for them all. They get the Blue Note treatment whether they are on that label or not, I just like the design and they look better on the shelf 😄 #cassettes #tapes #HomeTapingIsKillingMusic #xp

First one recorded, one of the BASF CR-E II. Forces of Nature (Live At Sluggs), and it sounds excellent. Like new. Gives me hope for the rest of them.

Tempted by a cheap knock-off Walkman from Temu.
Also tempted by a more expensive cassette deck for my Denon hi-fi separates. I’ll remove this thought from my brain as I value my marriage.
In further related news, I might be a hipster.

These tapes are the crappiest tapes I have ever bought in 50 years.
Be warned..... Now I'm worrying in case they have shed.
Back to TDK for The Kaiser Chiefs CD it is then.

I can still remember the cover of this Acid House compilation my brother brought home. Wasn’t my cup of tea tho. I think I eventually threw some tape on the corners and recorded over it. #hometapingiskillingmusic 😂

So, my friend at work gave me a list of music to get. I go to the local record shop (as usual) and also grab him a CD from his list....making sure I tape it first 👍

I don't stream 80s music I have folders full of great 80s tunes and I play them
Means no adverts as I refuse to pay for Spotify etc..
If there's an 80s song I don't have I record it off the streaming platforms with Audacity then add it to my library

Theres a film called How To Train a Dragon
I'm going to do a remake called How To Train Your Laptop
Just had to setup the soundcard so it could record from stereo mix and record from Spotify
I know its illegal but who's going to stop me

Radio 4’s The News Quiz doesn’t seem to have anyone from The Times, The Telegraph or GB News on the panel tonight. Not sure how that got through.
