Nyx has not had any real communication with the outside world that was not through me. In January, from the 17th to the 30th, we had video calls to her jail via Homewav. That was the last time I saw her face. From then to February 24th, she had access to a phone at a mental facility.

Adams County, Colorado has banned all forms of family visitation in the jail since at least 2006. Our lawsuit alleges that the Sheriff, through the Board of County Commissioners, contracted with private prison telecom company HomeWAV to profit from this visitation ban. 3/

Just got this message. Apperently, HomeWav is an app connecting incarcerated ppl w/their families.
I don't know anyone by this (red) name, let alone someone incarcerated.
