Sadly I'm kind of bearish on robot brains based on transformers at the moment. I think there'll need to be breakthroughs in new architectures to get a real homebot.

We have a virtual assistant/homebot set up in the house, which as a disabled person is a lifesaver, but we can't agree on which voice to use. Some of it is the gender-presentation or high/low tones. Whether it sounds chummy or more direct. This is where I think fictional talking cars ruined me.
