2024 has been awful. Forcibly relocating old people. Surgeries. Assisted living. Nursing homes. A BIL with tongue cancer. A funeral for MIL. Another assisted living relocation for FIL.
But last week the BIL had surgery. Cancer gone. Voice box and jaw saved. And today he spoke.
Oh my.
