#Hopelessness
In the midst of these feelings of uncertainty and sometimes hopelessness, I’ve been listening to “She Used to Be Mine” as a reflection of how things are different than I planned.

One of the things that used to bring me joy was singing so I decided to do that with this song, imperfections and all.

i do wonder if the plethora of beautiful mugs, fiber arts, t-shirts, prints, illustrations, and other works that have AI-related messages does actually create a feeling of oppression and fatigue. art that ceases to become a celebration or work in itself and instead adds to a miasma of hopelessness.

I just see this as hopelessness, not hype lol

It doesn't scream to me that people are looking for a reason to be "excited." It tells me they're desperate for a reset. Like GTA VI happening will make everything normal again and their excitement can be the exact same as it was with 5.

It's sad tbh
How enormous will Grand Theft Auto VI be? Well, 12,000 people are currently watching a YouTube livestream of someone waiting for a Game Informer article to drop because it has information about the weather system and 12 new screenshots www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5Ki...

A greatly underappreciated virtue of other presidents was that you could forget about them for weeks at a time.

Lost my da to this particular beast. I remember the absolute hopelessness of his situation after diagnosis.

It's amazing and wonderful to imagine that not everyone with this diagnosis will feel that way now.

This is one of those days where I’m very aware of the efforts required to cope with hopelessness.

I’m so very tired of the endless stream of horrors that have become everyday news.

diaspora perspectives on afghanistan are pretty marred by hopelessness and him dying in the leadup to 9/11 was one of the causes of that. his ideology is still popular especially among certain waves of afghan emigrants and held up as an example of like. positive afghan nationalism

Trigun has a vibe in every iteration, but queerness is a huge one, especially between the basically trans guy plant fighting against hopelessness and his best bud to the end weighed down by a cross on his shoulder and the trauma of what the church did to him and what he's had to do to survive.

with smilk, the ultidough taps into his paranoia and rejection/abandonment trauma, whereas with bspice it's not just tapping into 'destruction' but rather the motivation behind said destruction which is a sort of hopelessness/quiet acceptance of how nothing lasts + will/should crumble

While we know the history of hangings and this is a very engaging and thought provoking art piece, denying that black people hang themselves dismisses the pain and hopelessness of those black people who have indeed hung themselves. I wish this "movement" was worded differently. 💔

I lied the hopelessness is back lol
good news: i am feeling better and less hopeless but i'm not gonna lie. the immediate path forward is still pretty bad. thankfully it's finally getting cooler outside so driving the car with no ac isn't as bad

No fucking phone service either for the time being doesn’t help the agonizing feelings of hopelessness cuz I kind of need a working line to get calls for jobs….. fuck this whole everything dude…

And there's nothing wrong with that at all. It pulled it off well, I'm just saying I think this movie was at its strongest as a psychological thriller. The reveal after reveal, tackling mental distress, trauma and hopelessness as well as duty and responsibility. That's where the story shines.
