The shocking state of Kenneth Budd's fine "Horsefair 1908" mural in Birmingham; many pieces of which are lying on the ground below the work (and far more missing completely). Seen yesterday.

Birmingham City Council are responsible for its upkeep.
An area of mural, about bout 3m tall by 4m, 40% of whose 1cm tesserae (tiles) are missing. Several tesserae are lying on the floor. The remaining parts depict the front end of a horse and a crowd of people.

45 years ago today was the Stony Stratford Town Fayre! We're sharing this very vibrant poster for #MKMonday.
A bright purple poster for the Stony Stratford Town Fayre, run by the Stony Stratford Association. The text shows some of the events as part of the fayre (fancy dress, train rides, punch & judy show) and in the centre of the poster it says that there's a Grand Draw with 'Many Prizes'.
