[19] Somewhere in between tho, Horus develops a thing with Serqet (Goddess of Medicine & Poisons). She antagonizes him as a young prince, but they eventually warm up to each other.

Aside from tolerating her suggestive teasing, Horus and Serqet become good allies, as well as "friends with benefits."
Pencil art of the Egyptian gods Horus and Serqet, from DEITIES Project / #DEITIESProject. This is during their "first meeting during The Contendings," with Serqet approaching behind Horus, then threatening him with a blade near his throat and wearing a playful grin. Horus is unnerved, but still standing as he assess the situation. Artwork of Horus and Serqet as they appear in DEITIES Project. Horus is glaring through his blush at Serqet, who is tugging him close by his gold collar in her hand with a smug smile. Horus: "...You can let go of me anytime now, Serqet." Serqet: "Oh~? But I'm barely holding onto you, little prince~" "Though from your cute face, you look like I've been holding you elsewhere--" Horus: "Can you not??" Artwork of Horus and Serqet as they appear in DEITIES Project. Serqet is in her scorpion form and perched on Horus's shoulder, who is enduring the sensation while reaching to pick her up in his hand. There is a little panel to also display Serqet's human form. Horus: "...If you're going to hitch a ride like that, at least give me a warning." Serqet: "Like what, little prince?" Horus: "You know what I mean. It still feels weird having you crawl all over me in that form." Serqet: "Oh really? Then would you tolerate me 'crawling' all over you in a different form--" Horus, sharply: "Serqet." Serqet: "Hey, you walked into that one~"

[24] SERQET -- #OC_Tober #DEITIESProject
Profile: deitiesofduat.com/portfolio/se...

Serqet is the Goddess of Medicine, and of Poisons and Venom. A daughter of Ra, her keen knowledge and playfulness can make her a dangerous goddess to cross. However, she's a reliable ally to those who win her favor.
