Always pay your respects to the poets. This is the only house in Brooklyn where Walt Whitman lived which is still standing. We stood outside and recited Leaves of Grass, which he wrote while living here.

Interesting* fact; my address is one of only two precise combinations of <My Housenumber> <My Streetname> <Rd/St/Ave etc> in England (ie there are only two "123 Anyplace Gardens" in the whole country.) And I've met the person who lives in the other one.

Drought. It's dust dry down to the bottom of the deep hole I dug to put up a housenumber post. Last year there were catbirds nesting and even then, though it was very dry and catbirds are big fruit eaters, I got more fruit than this. The beans are fenced against deer.
