Tiny Houstonia pusilla and slightly larger H. caerulea which has a yellow throat. H. pusilla flowers in patches in sunny grassy areas. H. caerulea favors mossy stream banks and is often white with yellow.

A clump of Houstonia caerulea (bluets) mostly still flowering, with a few gone to seed. The flowers are mostly sky blue with yellow centers and white transitional areas around the centers. They look like little 4-pointed stars.

Mine down here has started to go to seed. 🌱
