Roberts literally authored the ruling that made the president a de facto king, above basically all criminal law. While of course all those other rulings are abysmal and destructive to our country I can’t think of anything that does more to destroy the basic principles of democracy than an executive who can order crimes committed on his behalf and then pardon the offenders. Not even impeachment solves this because the president can order the DOJ to arrest or even kill members of congress and would be immune for doing so. (As per Roberts’ ruling directing DOJ officials to conduct illegal investigations into his enemies is conduct he is immune for so I see no coherent logic that would not extend to other illegal uses of law enforcement functions)
