Trigger Dark vs Hudram
#Ultraman #TriggerDark #Hudram #

If you’re talking about how few Ultrawomen there are, and someone brings up What About Camearra, wait until they forget that conversation and then ask them if Hudram counts as an Ultraman. Or any Dark Giant who isn’t Tiga/Trigger dark. If the answer is no then Camearra shouldn’t count

Darrgon was the GOAT

I remember when @itshenshinj.bsky.social and I were talking about how Darrgon should have bonded to Akito and Carmeara should have moved to being redeemed but end up backstabbed by Hudram just to avoid a repeat of Final Odyssey

Also Hudram actually committed at least one planet wide genocide. Like that dude was Frieza levels of villainy

That's the only part of the Decker episodes with Carmeara I wasn't so keen on! I feel like the implication Carmeara will revive him and Darrgon is a major one because sure Darrgon can still be a Giant of Light but Hudram?

Hudram will just get feee and go be another Ultraman Belial

Hudra's whole thing was hating Tiga and being jealous of him which carried over into Hudram but they upped his hateability by making him genocidal and backstabbing among other things

I really liked Hudram despite how despicable he was despite how flim flammy Trigger is as a whole

A much stronger hook would have been Carmeara slowly turning back to the light but being unable to fully commit only for Hudram to viciously and cruelly backstab her in front of Trigger. That is something that would have been much more impactful

Carmeara betraying Darrgon like that still feels out of character for me. Yes it can be rationalized that her taking Hudram's darkness corrupted her further but it still feels wrong even considering that. Hudram doing that would have made more sense, he showed willingness to betray his comrades

I think too is that they could’ve worked in Trigger if they deviated from what their counterparts were in Tiga even more. Like I would have Darrgon be fully redeemed and turned into a giant of light and had Hudram betray Carmeara and become the final threat considering he was the most evil one
