Greta Thunberg is an activist and student from Sweden. She describes herself as an autistic nerd with bipolar disorder driven by a strong sense of justice. This is her third attempt this year to sail to Gaza with humanitarian aid to break the siege.“We all have a moral obligation to act and speak up in face of injustices and apply real pressure on those in power. As a privileged person with a platform there is simply no other option than to use that privilege and platform to stand up for what is right. That is the bare minimum and what it means to be human.”She got involved in activism around the age of 12, attending protests to welcome refugees to Sweden. She then became more connected with climate- and environmental advocacy and spends almost all her time engaging in different activist causes.“The fight for climate justice – and claiming to care about human- and planetary wellbeing overall – is incomplete without the fight for a free Palestine and a world free from all kinds of oppressions. Anything else is nothing but complete hypocrisy.” 📷 @chris_kebbonView all 2,491 comments

Repeated drone attacks against a humanitarian flotilla of more than 50 small vessels sailing to Gaza, has spurred the Italian and Spanish governments into sending naval support.#@gbsumudflotilla ##gbsumudflotilla @humansofgsf ##humansofgsf ##GlobalSumudFlotilla#Gaza @GretaThunberg ##GretaThunberg @ItalianNavy ##ItalianNavy @Armada_esp ##Armada_esp
