For "after leaving the hospital", that's a lot rougher, because most doctors will prescribe hydrocodone or oxycodone and that's it. Oxycodone *may* have a small effect depending on a lot of factors, hydrocodone will do zip.

Canada should join the 21 countries, like Spain & Australia, growing world supply of licit (legal) opium poppies for pharmaceutical opiates: codeine, thebaine (for oxycodone, hydrocodone & hydromorphone), Morphine (for diamorphine & heroin). Then we wouldn't need to buy any from the United States.
