When I was looking for a high-quality external touchpad to use with my Windows computer this summer, there was basically only one option. And for the most part I've been pretty happy with the Ploopy TrackPad that I've been using for the last few months. But there are some features that it lacks, like Bluetooth support, haptic feedback, or pressure sensitivity.

The HyperSpace TrackPad Pro is a touchpad designed to be a highly configurable wired or wireless input device for computers and mobile devices. Last fall, Hyper launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for the trackpad, and the company expected to begin shipping units to backers by March, 2026. Now Hyper has revealed that it won't be able to meet that timeline, so the company is offering refunds to backers who don't want to wait indefinitely for their touchpads to arrive.
