it's all algorithms, iterative calculations, hyperfunctions. facilitation

brain, it's too early in the morning for this; i have to be a person today

iirc they call those hyperfunctions
June 23, 2026 at 12:06 AM
and yet people tell me hyperfunctions exist

Seeing a lot of posts today that are like this:
"The use cases for AI are actually very wide ranging. I use it to coagulate hyperfunctions at my Excel job, identify the monetary balance on my bank account, and microanalyze patterns in my calorie intake. You're reactionary if you don't also do this."

Today's Interlude is the second part of a miniseries on this year’s POPL.
We talk about: symbolic execution monads, what a lazy linear core in Haskell might have in common with Rust, hyperfunctions, the hallway track, and how to deal with rejection.

Women who speak out are often murdered by these pituitary hyperfunctions. She's now got a huge target on her back by these knuckle draggers. I fear for her and her child.

Mikio Sato. Born the 18th of April, 1928, in Tokyo, Japan.

This is a page from Roger Penrose's The Road To Reality showing his hyperfunctions. They have beautiful connections with complex numbers and sheaves. Happy Birthday, Mikio Sato!

Hyperfunctions
I’ve been trying to understand (not entirely successfully yet…) Wick rotation using hyperfunctions, which are a sort of distributions not as well-known as they should be. Some notes abo…
