hyperglide browns mog silent tactiles
Tried these silent tactiles because flux from a repair fucked up my other switches and unfortunately I don't think I can do silent tactiles, it just flares up my joint pain real bad. Gonna try hyperglide browns with some Geon 42.5g springs swapped in and hope for the best.

Three months later, I finish rebuilding it. It meant tracking down some *strange* components (h/t to Bitex for the RAR8, the only good Hyperglide hub with a 120mm OLD) and doing a lot of fettling, but I think it came out OK.
Also, yes, that is a Brompton bag on the front. Wheeeee.

Rear hub was rusty, dusty, & crusty. Old cassette is shot, but freehub is fine. It's a unique Deore LX that accepts both the obsolete Uniglide and the current Hyperglide cassettes. A rare instance of Shimano offering backwards compatibility. Rebuilt hub with new grease & bearings.

打鍵音はHyperglideより鳴ってる気がするけど、筐体(Larva)の影響の可能性もあるのでよくわからん

I have linkglide on my lynskey pro 29, cause I was killing hyperglide chains. Held up to winter riding really well, so this is temping. Will want to see reviews.

This hub has a Uniglide freehub body - and not just any Uniglide; it has the Dura-Ace-Specific version. I want to be able to put a modern cassette on this hub...
there were other basically-identical-appearing Hugi Compact hubs with Hyperglide freehub bodies, so I thought this would be an easy swap

Weird setup on this bike. SRAM rival shortcage derailleur and shimano hyperglide chainring and cassette. I’m going to try a 105 11-25 cassette to go with the 46/36 existing chainring. And some generic 160 disc rotor with 6 bolt adapter on some wheels that look decent. HGC splined hub.
