i did the hypogean gaol and some secret cathedral ward areas. the gaol and the early visit to an isolated section of the unseen village are so wonderful. i think i will have to do the boss later, however.

reading some natural history and y’know what? we have a lot of great words for “cave-dwelling animal.” troglomorph, stygofauna, hypogean, phreatobite, trogloxene, speleophile, so many more… I’m not sure we needed like 50 words for them but they’re all great so I don’t know which ones we would’ve cut
