Funniest encounter today was the giant ICE SUV full of masked dudes who spent 20 minutes whipping around Uptown trying to lose the tail (my doughty little Fit), at one point turning the wrong way onto a one-way street, before fleeing on to I35 and finally finding a state trooper to park/hide behind

I've made this trip up & down I35 so many times. The bus is basic, but the seats are comfortable and, most importantly, someone else is driving. I hate driving up & down I35.
I'm trying Red Coach to go to San Antonio today. You can see our glorious brutalist City Hall in the background.

we passed the goriest motorcycle accident on I35 that made me wish that you could have a life content warning. i can’t imagine that person’s poor family, knowing that their relative’s body was out there like that.
so glad my kid didn’t see it, somehow. I will be playing tetris for a few hours.
