Looking at the newest public IASaT page with Ironius unloading the world’s dumbest idea managed to get “haha what if Entropy just slowly gave in to The Grieving during the 500 years in the void” appear in my head

Long story short Veil comes from an abusive family and Entropy saves them from their brother trying to get violent with them. And things go from there. So I was like oh their past roles reverse in the future. Fun.
BUT THEN I wrote more of IASaT and goddamn characters just do their thing

So Veil came out being Fade’s friend/partner/unclear relationship. This is the same time I come up with the initial early plot of IASaT. I don’t know which came first: Fade’s backstory or the “coffee shop AU-ass where Veil doesn’t recognize Fade but Fade knows who Veil is” thing

Unrelated but still absolutely wild that what started as that smut comic has developed into important lore. Like I’ve got more to Fade’s and Veil’s relationship pre-time travel, a lot about how Void functions, and many repercussions from the stuff that happens towards the end of IASaT

Also me casually adding that Fade somehow got a new crack on their star ball. And the shenanigans that entails. Can't forget the post-IASaT Fade-Void dynamic, since Fade by then knows Void's true nature.

I could literally talk about Fade’s origin leading up to IASaT being a concept all day. There’s just. A lot lol. And at the lowest I’ve ever been so things feel more significant I guess? Idk. 2019-2020 was a hell of a time lol. Back then I was actively planning suicide
