The union contract for KATU News photographers and video editors has expired and we are in negotiations for a new one. #IATSELocal600 had a truck at the Moda Center for all the people going to the Trailblazers/Lakers game Saturday night to see.
A box truck with a lighted sign that says “KATU2 is NOT on our side! SINCLAIR UNFAIR TO WORKERS.” The IATSE logo is on the bottom right and bottom left of the sign. Four employees are standing next to the truck. The Moda Center is in the background where thousands of people walked by this lighted sign at night to watch the Blazers/Lakers basketball game on January 17, 2026.
