With the US out of the picture (the only country to vote against the 1981 Code of Marketing), the rest of the world took this huge step forward -- given that digital marketing is the main way companies use to side-step the Code and replace breast milk with their commercial products.

With the US out of the picture (the only country to vote against the 1981 Code of Marketing), the rest of the world took this huge step forward -- given that digital marketing is the main way companies use to side-step the Code and replace breast milk with their commercial products.
It's a difficult legislative problem, there are even several international orgs (such as IBFAN) dedicated to getting it right.

Nestlé doit assumer ses responsabilités et mettre fin au double standard ! ❌ Avec IBFAN nous avons aussi demandé au Secrétariat d’État à l’économie d’agir pour faire cesser ces pratiques commerciales contraires à l’éthique et déloyales.
