Finally got a clear night and didn't waste it - The Heart Nebula (IC1805), 2 hours 45 minutes of total exposure time in 30-second shots. Seestar S30 was the scope.

While @astroroyalscot.bsky.social was looking at Saturn through our various scopes (including a 10" Dobsonian), I had my S50Pro 🔭 on the Heart Nebula (IC1805). I've just processed a combination of 1 hour from this night and 40 minutes from a previous night to get this image. #astrophotography

Ora. Domani c'è Saturno in opposizione, mercoledì alle 9:33 ho un transito ISS, poi ho C27, IC1805 e Sh2-216 da mandare avanti in parallelo, e di giorno avrei il Daystar Quark H-alfa da provare, che ho comprato usato e temo di aver preso un pacco. Per non parlare della app per astrofotografi >>

The Heart (IC1805), Soul (IC1848), and the Fish Head (IC1795) emission nebulae in Cassiopeia are star forming regions within the Milky Way. Narrow band photo rendered with the Hubble palette: Sulfur(reds), Hydrogen(yellows) and Oxygen (blues)

What about this? It is a photography of an astronomical object (the heart nebula), that you CANNOT see with your own eyes even looking thru a telescope (apart from an almost imperceptible haze), it is a ‘software trick’ that allows to add up many minutes of observation to form a visible image.

Another golden hour with the Seestar S50 here in Suffolk, UK. Two more targets ticked off: IC1805, the Heart Nebula and NGC7000 the North America Nebula.
Seeing conditions here for the past two nights have been great and look set to continue over the weekend 😊🔭
