The 31st International Congress of Vexillology has been opened! This week there will be a great number of presentations on flags and the science of flags, vexillology! #ICV31

The 31st international congress of vexillology #ICV31 has ended. The next congress #ICV32 will be in Prague (Czech Republic) during the last full week of June, 2028.

The second day of the International Congress of Vexillology #ICV31 has started. Today's presentations are concerned with "flag and nation". In the afternoon the general assembly of FIAV will take place.

The last day of #ICV31 will see nine presentations and will be concluded by a gala dinner and the FIAV awards and honours ceremony.

The afternoon session of the International Congress of Vexillology #ICV31 will continue the theme of flag and nation and it will be moderated by Marcel van Westerhoven of the NVvV.

The fourth day of #ICV31 continues the presentations on the overarching subject of "flag and nation" in the morning and focuses on "flag and society" in the afternoon. In total twelve presentations will be held today.

On the third day of #ICV31 no lectures were held, but attendees could go on excursions. We visited the Musée de l'Ordre de la Libération, which features a permanent exhibition on WW II. In the afternoon, we were at the Château de Vincennes for a guided tour of the Service Historique de la Défense.
