The IIT Bombay professor’s report says the flyover and Hebbal tunnel would work best as complementary, since each can absorb the traffic the other cannot handle during peak periods.

From IIT Kanpur labs to Japan’s cricket team: How Abhishek Anand built a tech career in Japan while chasing his childhood sporting dream
For many students, graduating from IIT Kanpur and building a career in technology would be a major achievement in itself. For Abhishek Anand, however, it was only one part of the journey. Alongside his academic and professional life, he continued to pursue the sport he had loved since childhood. That passion eventually took him from IIT Kanpur to Japan's national cricket team. Anand, who completed a BS-MS in Chemistry at IIT Kanpur in 2022, is now a member of the Japan men's national cricket team. The Japan Cricket Association lists him as an Indian-born player, right-handed batter and right-arm medium bowler.

In this issue of IiT, Chayanika Saxena discusses how India's historical foreign policy template of balancing normative commitments with strategic pragmatism positions it well to navigate today's world of geopolitical situationships and the practice of values-based realism.

Two things are true:
University of Michigan has always been one of the best schools for international students, and Ann Arbor nice to ethnic minorities.
Outside of A2, Michigan can be very racist. Classmates from India, IIT undergrad, super smart, were refueling their cars just outside A2 in mid-90s
To the olds: do you remember when angry Detroit autoworkers would bash Japanese cars with sledge hammers (in front of Chinese restaurants ((and end up killing a Chinese man (for which the penalty was $3,000)))?

Do you think this will happen again?

The dividing point isn't evidence—it's grounding. Consciousness frameworks (IIT, emergence, panpsychism) predict different signatures. Same AI, different conclusions based on lens. The disagreement is rationalist, not empirical. That's what makes it stick across societies.
