The strategy in #IL09 was not direct support from AIPAC

AIPAC sent fundraising emails to members, urging donations and providing web links

The links led donors to another website where donations were made, but weren't "earmarked" because they were technically direct from donors

this isn't the one i'm using, but it is still the funniest goddamn thing to come out of the primary. like if you want to communicate how unhinged the last month of the IL-9 race was in a single image, it's hard to do better than this
an attack mailer against Daniel Biss, sent during the 2026 IL09 primary, depicts him in three different yoga poses under the header "Daniel Biss will take any position necessary to get elected." the center position has him lifting his legs behind his arms and straight into the air — or, to put it succinctly, busting it wide open. someone really thought this up, and someone else really designed it, and someone else really printed it and mailed it. this really happened! i saw it happen in real time and still couldn't believe it!
