Very excited to see this out! We used scRNAseq to show increased neutrophil production in the bone marrow in breast cancer, indicating systemic inflammation. These neutrophils promote metastasis. However, this can be blocked by treating mice with an IL1-b inhibitor! See 🧵 and paper for details.
