Admittedly, a lot of papers said *something*, just not enough – often just ‘IMGT’. Not only does IMGT host multiple resources, the databases change over time: alleles appear, change, and even disappear, so if you’re not saying which version you used, your analysis isn’t reproducible.

The preprint for Structure-based Antibody Renumbering is now on biorxiv. The method, which I developed while I was between jobs last year, gives ANARCI-like annotations to antibodies and related systems using only the 3d coordinates of main chain atoms.

The worst offender I've found so far is PDB 5OMM chain C on Sabdab, which has many unassigned residues despite being 1.7 Å resolution. For example its C-terminal VTVSS starts at IMGT pos 115 instead of pos 124. Probably AbNum/ANARCI struggling w/ the gaps

TCR-seq q: collaborator has ~10% of clones assigned to alleles IMGT says are "ORFs" like TRAJ44*01, TRBJ1-6*01 (this is 10x in mice). What can cause this? How likely are they productive TCRs? Maybe @jamieheather.bsky.social @victorgreiff.bsky.social @10xgenomics.bsky.social have ideas? 🙏
