#INVASIVE
this fucking draconian, invasive, transphobic initiative is likely to pass
November 4, 2026 at 4:37 AM
A reminder that "red state/blue state" is often a poor guide for trans safety otg.

The fact an invasive trans sports ban got majority support on the ballot in Washington and was rejected in Missouri is a good example.

It seems wildly discriminatory (besides the trans part) since it specifically only targets girls for invasive medical screening

No you’re correct Taschen, this painting of an enormous globally invasive European bird demanding food from birds species from colonised countries isn’t political, I can finally take art criticism seriously now

In the midst of all the good news from last night, I’m deeply saddened that Initiative 638 appears poised to pass in Washington state. This measure, aimed at punishing trans girls, will require all little girls to undergo genital exams or other invasive procedures in order to play K–12 sports.

welp, WA voted to ban trans kids from participating in sports + invasive requirements for female sports participants. but we're such a blue, safe state, right /s
November 4, 2026 at 5:41 AM
My personal belief is that if you’d rather have your daughter be subject to invasive genital exams than play sports with one of fifteen trans athletes in the entire state, you should actually have your children taken away
November 5, 2026 at 3:37 PM
Or if the “less invasive” chromosome test ends up showing a result that the parents didn’t expect because they didn’t know their daughter was intersex.

Disgusting to see these passed. Invasive genital inspections for children, I'll fucking vomit.

This better be reversed in the future. The transphobia is Disgusting!!!!
If you're from Colorado, be sure to vote No on prop 134 and 135 as it's anti trans propositions.

Next stop: non-invasive, outpatient spinal surgery. Good times.
In post-procedure. Get to lie on my back for 3 hrs. They went in through my groin. Surprise shaving! So, awkward, pressure, and discomfort with just a hint of pain. The tube in the photo is just monitoring CO2. And hey, arteries look good, no intervention, so yay!

The gov't pinky swears the implementation of invasive surveillance tech will be used appropriately & properly without defining either...
The policing minister has promised new legislation on the use of live facial recognition in public areas www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Privacy campaigners have criticised an "alarming escalation" in police use of the tech, which maps a person's unique features and matches them against watchlists.

Love that Labour are invasive puritanical weirdos and it’s funny to use HPV as an excuse for something you can’t catch from porn but can easily prevent with a vaccine

I keep coming back to whose distress counts. A hypothetical disadvantage is treated as intolerable, while the distress caused by exclusion, accusations, or invasive scrutiny becomes acceptable collateral damage. How is that a coherent commitment to children’s wellbeing?

its actually really invasive to ask bugs how many legs they have

Removing invasive spotted bass from South Africa’s Breekkrans River has allowed the critically endangered doring fiery redfin to recover.

By clearing an area, conservationists expanded the native fish's habitat fivefold, offering a model for river restoration.

"theres discrete and non invasive ways to do these tests now, you're making it sound worse than it actually is" don't care, it's still fucked up and gross and invasive and cruel and unneccessary

Wow... that's disgusting and invasive.
