That's why you have "final", "final final", "final final final", "final revised", "final final revised v2", and "final final revised v2_kga" appended to "manuscript.docx".

A lot of short submissions (letters, comments) that I receive are just called manuscript.docx. Doesn't this make it hard to keep track of your files?

This is probably my one issue where I go full authoritatian: anyone not using ISO8601 should get sent to time jail. (Time jail is mostly about restorative justice but if you don't like time puns there's also a punitive aspect)
